PICTURE DAY...

Today the boys came home with their school pictures...I was so excited to see them! The problem was this is not how I sent them to school. How did this happen? Wouldn't you have thought that the photographer would have noticed the "cute" polo shirt that Luke was wearing didn't require a SLEEVELESS sweatshirt to go over it and none the less all zipped up? Oh and who buttoned Gavin's shirt all the way up to his neck? NOT ME!!! One more question...who gives these children a comb and why on picture day? Gavin told me that he comb's his hair every year right before he gets his school picture taken...hmmmm I guess this year it was just a little more noticeable.

So I ask myself, "can I let this go and just chuckle every time I walk by these pictures hanging on my wall?" Nahhhhh....retakes are at the end of this month.

They are so cute! Atleast you remembered it was picture day. The last two years at my kids' school I have forgotten it was picture day and you should see what they looked like in theirs!

Ha! Everytime I bring my 6th graders to get pictures they always put out combs and spray bottles but no one ever uses them. I have some kids that refuse to take off their sweatshirt. I think they both still look adorable though!

commenting back on your potty training advice: Seems like everyone has all the same ideas...which are terrific ideas...unfortunately I have done all of them! I really don't use the pull-ups, I just have them. She has her "Elmo" underwear, which she did pick out herself. She totally knows what the Dora potty seat is and what it is used for, as well as the chair on the floor. She just refuses to go in them. I thought we were "saved" because the FIRST time she went in the floor potty chair was on my b-day, and I thought "omg, this is it! praise the lord!" then that next week she went twice in one day at daycare! but not since then. She tells us right after she does go (#1 or #2), but not before. I think I will go back to the panties as soon as I get home and see how she likes that pee running down her leg.
