The joys of boys

What a nice day it was today! We finally got outside to play some catch and of course Luke brought out his pocket knife...I use to worry about him cutting himself, but then I figured that he would only do that once...so I stopped worrying. To this day he still has 10 little fingers and no gashes in his skin. When I told him to please be careful, he responded with this, "I've worked more pocket knives than you Mom", another reason I don't worry anymore. I will let you all know when we make our first trip to the ER with a finger on ice...that should be fun explaining that one...crossing my fingers it never happens.

Luke is always hard at work...

Lt. Luke
you gotta love it when they start learning how to write...

Here's the thing with Luke...he thinks he is the foreman, lieutenant, big man on campus, THE BOSS (his nickname is "boss man") and most of all the "toughest" son of a gun ever!!! He comes up with all this on his own....hopefully he will be able to fill those "big" shoes he is making for himself!!! Gotta love the kid!
